Course Description: This class uses Saxon Math - Course 2. We have chosen Saxon because of its direct incremental teaching style and built-in review of concepts. Course 2 provides students an introduction to a range of math concepts: Number and Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Data Analysis, Probability, and Problem Solving.

Course Description: This class uses Saxon Math - Course 3. We have chosen Saxon because of its direct incremental teaching style and built-in review of concepts. Course 3 provides students a deeper study of a range of math concepts: Number and Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Data Analysis, Probability, and Problem Solving. It serves as a Pre-Algebra course.

Course Description: This class uses Saxon, Algebra 1, 3rd Edition. We have chosen Saxon-3rd because of its integration, direct incremental teaching style, and built-in review of concepts. Students will develop the understanding they need to resolve more complex problems and functions with this step-by-step course. Covers topics including signed numbers, exponents, and roots; absolute value; equations and inequalities; scientific notation; unit conversions; polynomials; graphs; factoring; quadratic equations; direct and inverse variations; exponential growth; statistics; and probability.

Course Description: This class uses Saxon Algebra II, 3rd Edition, which maintains Saxon's direct, incremental teaching style, built-in review of concepts, and integrated geometry. This course covers uniform motion, chemistry-related problems, simultaneous equations with 2 and 3 variables, non-linear equations, geometry, right-triangle trigonometry, conversion from rectangular to polar coordinates, addition of vectors, complex numbers, quadratic formulas.
Importantly, geometry is not covered in a separate course in the math sequence, but is integrated across this course and the next, Advanced Math I. In terms of the credit value, it is correct to consider that between the two courses the student receive 1 credit of Algebra II and 1 credit of Geometry.

Course Description: A welcome addition to Saxon's curriculum line, Saxon Geometry is the perfect solution for students and parents who prefer a dedicated geometry course...yet want Saxon's proven methods!
Presented in the familiar Saxon approach of incremental development and continual review, topics are continually kept fresh in students' minds. Covering triangle congruence, postulates and theorems, surface area and volume, two-column proofs, vector addition, and slopes and equations of lines, Saxon features all the topics covered in a standard high school geometry course. Two-tone illustrations help students really "see" the geometric concepts, while sidebars provide additional notes, hints, and topics to think about.

Course Description: This class uses Saxon Algebra II, 3rd Edition and Saxon Advanced Math, 2nd Edition. The course maintains Saxon's direct, incremental teaching style, built-in review of concepts, and integrated geometry.
