Course Desciption: Many report that the completion of this three year cycle is often the equivalent to more than three years of study in the average high school program. By the second semester, students are doing topical readings on a range of subjects—in Latin! We cover lesson 70 through the end of Benjamin D’Ooge’s Latin for Beginners, finishing grammar by the end of the first semester.

Course Description: Using the book German Made Simple by Arnold Leitner, students will begin learning about the German language by following the story of an American business man and his family. Students will translate short stories and children's poems to work on reading German, and students will compose German each week as they grow in their knowledge of the German language. Memorization assignments include the basic Church prayers in German, children's poems, and famous German quotes. There are homework assignments, quizzes, memorization activities, a long composition, and two exams for this course each semester.

Course Description: Using the books Practice Makes Perfect – A Complete French Grammar and Easy French Reader, students will begin to learn the French language through reading and writing the very first week of class! The reader includes short stories about an American girl living in France, short stories about historical French figures, and excerpts from French literature. For the student who has been aching to begin a serious study of French as well as for the student who wishes simply to become acquainted with French, this should prove to be a fun choice!

Course Description: Using the books Practice Makes Perfect – A Complete French Grammar and Read & Think French, students will continue to learn the French language through reading and writing! The reader includes articles on several different themes, allowing all students to find something of interest! The Audio CD that comes with the book provides 26 readings of these articles to help students further with their listening comprehension. Mrs. Rolling provides Grammar Videos, Agendas, Activities, and Grading! For the student who has been aching to continue expanding vocabulary and phrases, this hopes to be a wonderful choice!
